About Me

Myself, early 2008

What is an Audio Producer?

Sound designer, audio engineer, music mixer, sound effects editor, voice over recordist; dialogue editor, the list goes on; at various times in my career, I’ve been described by all of these job descriptions and several more!

Audio engineering would be the technical half of capturing and working with sound.
Audio production is the creative decision making process. I’ve worked in roles that were one or the other or a mixture of both during my career.

These days, although engineering is still a big part of what I do, I’m generally hired as a mixer – for the quick turnaround balancing of the sound. My training in classical music and proficiency in multiple instruments (guitar, piano, bass and singing) all help connect my own technical skills with the performance being captured and crafted.

Whether you have started your project and want it professionally mixed or you would like assistance right from the beginning, I’m happy to be of service in one or multiple capacities.
